Brandon Margera got his nickname “Bam” from his father, when he was just 3 years old. His dad named the child in this way for his habit to “bang” into the walls of their house. Bam liked skateboarding from the earliest years and together with a number of close friends he created short skateboarding videos, which he later united under the name “the CKY video series”.

The talented young skateboarder was noticed by then editor of “Big Brother” journal Jeff and he invited Bam to become the part of MTV crew, who created Jackass video (or “never repeat it at home” videos).

Bam made two careers simultaneously. He developed his skills of a skateboarder, being the member of “Team Element” and besides participated in TV shows and independent films. He directed some of these films himself. Thus he directed and produced “Haggard: The Movie”, which added some extra kudos to his resume.
