In the Lancer Evolution VI, Tommy Makinen drove to complete his 4th consecutive WRC Driver’s Championship. Each earlier victory came to Tommi while driving eralier versions of the Lancer Evolution platform.
After seven years of devlopment, the Lancer Evoution had reached its peak. For Makenin’s victory a special model was made bearing his name.
