Chris Travis is an American rapper, music producer, and head of Water Boyz Entertainment. He’s known for songs like “Crunch Time”, “9K Freestyle” and “Live From the Creek”. His discography include the EPs Stay Pure (2013) and No Trespassing (2015) featuring Robb Banks. He’s also affiliated with the hip-hip collective Seshollowaterboyz. Travis was born on December 2, 1993, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was raised in the neighborhood of Orange Mound. He attended Germantown followed by Southwind High School.

CAREER
Travis’ early music influences include Tommy Wright III, Three 6 Mafia, and Boosie Badazz. He broke out on the music scene as a member of SpaceGhostPurrp‘s Raider Klan. He recorded and performed with the Klan from 2011 to 2013. During his tenure, he appeared on the mixtapes 275 Greatest Hits Vol. 1 (2013) and BRK Greatest Hits Vol. 2 (2013). Travis has since founded his own independent label Water Boyz Ent. His debut EP, Stay Pure, was released in 2013. It included songs like “H2O” and “Judgement Day”. Other early projects include Pizza and Codeine (2012), Side Effects (2013), and Born in the Winter (2013). Travis’ breakout single “Crunch Time” was released in July 2013. It has 15+ million spins on SoundCloud and more than 15 million views on YouTube. The song was released commercially in December 2013.

Travis co-founded the hip hop collective ‘Seshollowaterboyz’ in 2014. The other members are Xavier Wulf (Hollow Squad), Bones (TeamSesh), and Eddy Baker (Healthy Boyz). The group is based in Los Angeles, California. They’ve performed in such venues as The Novo by Microsoft in downtown Los Angeles. Travis collaborated with Bones on the EP Sea Beds (2014), and with Robb Banks on No Trespassing (2015). His more recent projects include Shark Boy (2016), Forgive Me (2017), and Waterszn (2017). He’s also worked with acts like of $uicideboy$, Fat Nick, Yung Simmie, Mike Jones and Gangsta Boo.
