This celeb kid is following in her mom's footsteps…down the runway. Christie Brinkley is one of the most famous supermodels of all time, and her daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook has also taken on modeling as her career. The 22-year-old is signed with IMG Models and has already landed some major gigs.
It might be hard for anyone who grew up with Brinkley's life making the celeb news rounds to believe that Brinkley-Cook is already an adult. She's the supermodel's third child, who she welcomed in 1998 with her then-husband Peter Cook. Cook and Brinkley divorced in 2008 after "one of New York's nastiest divorce battles", according to the NY Daily News.
But that's all in the past now. These days, Brinkley-Cook is an adult who is embarking on her own career and making her own headlines. Read on to find out more about her. And for another famous kid who is now working as a model, See Pierce Brosnan's Lookalike Son Paris on His Latest Magazine Cover.
Brinkley-Cook was signed by IMG Models in 2013 when she was 15 years old. But she wasn't the only one to gain new representation—her mom also signed with IMG Models at the same time. The long-time model had been signed by Elite for much of her career, as reported by Vogue. At that point, Brinkley-Cook had already appeared in an advertisement for Claire's and was set to appear in Bella magazine with her mom.
Brinkley-Cook went on to model for Sports Illustrated—like Brinkley—as well as in Teen Vogue and Marie Claire, and on the Dolce & Gabbana runway.

On Mar. 31, Brinkley-Cook shared that she photographed herself for a feature in James Lane Post magazine. "Photography has always been something I've been drawn to and I'll always be drawn to," she said in her interview with the publication. She explained that she hadn't been doing as much recently, but added, "I think in the near future though, with some of the projects I'm working on, photography will definitely take up a bigger role in my life."

Brinkley-Cook is probably most widely known due to her appearance on Dancing with the Stars. Brinkley was cast in Season 28 in 2019 but wasn't able to participate in the competition after breaking her arm during rehearsals. So, her daughter took her place.
"I'm doing this mostly for my mom! I just want to make her happy and make her proud," Brinkley-Cook told Good Morning America. "She loved doing this, she loves dancing and she loves performing and getting hurt was her worst nightmare." Brinkley-Cook was the third celebrity to be eliminated during the season.

Brinkley-Cook has spoken out about body issues on Instagram and in interviews. "I've been so down on myself recently. Crying about my cellulite, letting the fat on my body ruin my day, getting mad that I'm not as skinny as I once was. The body dysmorphia and left over eating disorder tendencies have been coming in strong," she wrote in a May 2020 post. She went on to say how it can be hard to see her body change and to compare herself to others, but she's "proud" of her body and "lucky" to be healthy. "If you're out there hating on yourself, stop!! Appreciate yourself. You're [sic] body is so magical."
In the James Lane Post interview, she shared, "When it comes to my struggles with my body issues and depression; I'm in a headspace where I'm thinking hey, if there's anything useful I can do with that pain that I felt at my worst, it would be to help make sure no one else feels as alone as I did when I went through it." She added, "It also helps me by making those demons less scary and more of what they really are, natural parts of life that with time and putting in work you can get a hold of."
